Department of Applied Sciences and Humanities is one of the indispensable departments of Rajkiya Engineering College(REC) Ambedkar Nagar. Department imparts excellent quality education in the area of Applied Science ( Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Environmental Science etc.) and Humanities ( Economics & Management, English etc.). The Department was established in 2010. Since then the department has been running to support the B.Tech Programme. The exponential growth of the department is itself a testimony of sincere efforts being put in by faculty members of the department.

The Department has well equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and English Language.
